Associate - Entry Level - Financial Reporting Oversight

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
- Third level qualification in Finance, Accounting or similar
- A professional qualification in accountancy would be advantageous
- Prior Financial Reporting experience – in particular, reviews of Financial Statements and knowledge of accounting standards and structures preferable
- Proficiency using MS Office applications
- Genuine interest in working in the funds industry.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
- Review of interim and year-end Financial Statements covering a range of structures including UCITS and AIF products across a number of jurisdictions
- Engage with Administrators as part of the Financial Statements process and interact internally with each client Account Manager to ensure identified issues are addressed
- Participate in the preparation of Board Reporting through Carne’s technology platform
- Participate in the preparation of internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of procedures as part of the team’s processes when required
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with each of the fund delegates including investment managers, and administrators, to ensure clear lines of communication
- Adapt to new tasks and processes requiring support from the Team ensuring that they are implemented and continuously performed to the required standards
- Provide regular feedback to the internal IT Development Team to ensure the on-going evolution of Carne’s technology platform to meet the growing regulatory reporting requirements of our Clients
- Foster a positive team ethic and support the development and training of staff, when required.
