Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area cleaning.
- Manage and lead a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient operations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar role in a 4-star or higher property for at least 2 years.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficient in using housekeeping management software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Executive Housekeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
