About us
Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
At Morgan Stanley Budapest, we are shaping the future of our global business and contributing to our local community. Our team works across numerous areas, including Technology, Mathematical Modeling, Finance, Risk Management, Operations and Data & Analytics from our new state-of-the-art offices near the Danube and our City Gate office in the heart of the city center.
The Wealth Management (WM) Chief Data Office (CDO) sits within the WM Risk organization and strives to find the right balance between risk management and business enablement. Within CDO, the WM Divisional Data Office manages Data Quality related issues, prioritizes key processes with data quality dependencies, identifies Critical Data Elements (CDEs) underpinning prioritized processes, and applies controls to ensure CDEs meet data quality standards.
Responsibilities
The Data Quality Risk Manager will support the implementation of the WM Data Quality Standard, and will lead the day-to-day execution of the WM Data Quality Risk Reduction Roadmap, i.e. the identification of WM Critical Data Elements and associated use cases and the determination of data quality control requirements across systems and use cases. This work will require end-to-end data flow analysis, assessment of data quality controls, identification of business data ownership, cataloging of this metadata into the Firmwide Data Catalog (Collibra), and managing the annual re-attestation of data and control ownership among WM Business and Technology partners. Additional responsibilities will include metrics production and reporting for the purposes of progress tracking, and updates to both the WM and Firmwide Data Quality Governance Committees.
