Responsibilities

Assist the Head in overseeing and managing the IT audit function of the Group, and advising on the design and implementation of significant internal controls and risk management procedures

Participate and monitor the proper completion of audit assignments in accordance with the approved annual audit plan and ensure the quality of audit work

Report to the Head of any exceptions, irregularities or potential non-compliances with the Group’s policies and procedures, or legal and regulatory requirements

Provide follow up and updates on the implementation of audit recommendations by auditees

Provide internal consultancy services to other departments (e.g. IT department and Compliance department) on internal controls and risk management procedures

Review and update the departmental manuals / procedures on a timely basis

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or in related disciplines

7 years or above external / internal IT audit experience obtained from financial institutions or sizable CPA firms

Certified with Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) or other professional accounting bodies is highly preferred; Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) is an added advantage

Good knowledge of the operations in financial industry and related regulations

Good technical knowledge on Windows, relational database, and IT security controls

Sound technical knowledge of risk and control in various IT domains such as IT infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, SQL as well as other key areas including BCP/IT-DR, project management, database and technology risk framework

Attentive to details, able to work independently and possess a strong sense of responsibility

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and possesses good report writing skills

Candidates with less working experience may be considered as AVP, Internal Audit (IT)
