Executive Officer I/Executive Officer II

Duties

Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Dean;

Schedule meetings, coordinate visits/events, and manage the Dean’s calendar;

Deal with sensitive and confidential matters in a professional manner;

Handle information flow and maintain an effective record and filing system;

Serve as a liaison between the College Office and its line departments, and maintain cordial relations between the Office and a wide spectrum of internal and external parties and stakeholders;

Work on special projects as assigned by the Dean; and

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years’ administrative/secretarial experience, preferably in tertiary education sector;

Being well-organised and attentive to details;

Strong sense of responsibility with initiatives, and being self-motivated and alert to sensitive matters;

Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);

Good interpersonal and communication skills; and

Ability to work independently and under pressure with multitasking skills.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
