Aquaculture Extension Services for Hong Kong

Duties

Prepare budget and semi-annual reports to the granting agency;

Administer staffing matters for Aquatic Animal Veterinarians and Technical Officers;

Purchase drugs and other consumables for the project;

Assist the veterinary team in the laboratory or field when needed; and

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Science with 3 years of experience in project management. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good record keeping, time management and organisational skills; and attention to details are required. Specific experience in aquaculture and ability to communicate well with farmers; and possession of a valid Hong Kong Driving license (Class 1 and 2) are assets.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
