Responsibilities:
Edit, write, proofread and check content including artworks and photos, to ensure language quality and general accuracy

Prepare briefs for design, artworks and photos

Edit content for print and electronic teaching / learning materials

Liaise with writers and illustrators to develop projects

Assist in project planning

Assist in supervising junior editorial staff

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
University graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related discipline

Over 5 years editorial or teaching experience in Science, with Textbook publishing experience a distinct advantage

Candidate with supervisory experience will be considered as more senior position

Familiar with the local Science curriculum

Knowledge in coding and STEAM education is an advantage

Attention to details

Good command of Chinese and English, both verbal and written

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese input

Organized and self-motivated

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Editor/Project Editor position
