Executive Assistant

Duties

Reporting to the Associate Director (Student Life and Resources), the appointee will be responsible for:

Overseeing the daily operation of the student activity fund;

Assisting in the implementation of activities organised by the Team and student organisations;

Providing support for activities under the Student-led Activities Programme;

Overseeing the Student Leaders Administration System, which provides student leadership information for the University’s Co-curricular Transcript System;

Assisting in the management of the Resource Booker System, a venue-booking system for SDS student activity venues;

Handling financial account matters for the Team;

Promoting student development programmes and activities via social media and IT platforms; and

Performing any other duties as assigned.

The appointee will be required to work outside office hours for supporting events and activities.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE, including the English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 years’ working experience. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in youth work or event management would definitely be an advantage.
Ideal candidates should be proactive with a strong sense of responsibility, open-minded with flexibility, independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
