Entry Requirements:
(a) (i) Level 3 [see Note (i)] or above in 5 subjects (may include Chinese Language and English Language) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or
(ii) Grade E or above in 2 subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 [see Note (ii)]/Grade C or above in 3 other subjects (may include Chinese Language and English Language) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(b) Met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 [see Note (ii)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent;
(c) Well-versed in common office computer software such as Microsoft Office;
(d) At least 2 years' education-related working experience; and
(e) Experience related to Chinese Language Education Key Learning Area (KLA), Mathematics Education KLA or Values Education preferred.
Note:
(i) For appointment purpose, "Attained with Distinction" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(ii) For appointment purpose, Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties:
(a) To assist the Assessment Officer in the assessment of nominations for the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence (CEATE), including collecting and collating supplementary information from nominees, grouping/categorising nominations received, verifying the information provided in the nominations, arranging initial and detailed assessment (including interviews, school visits, class observations, video shooting and photo-taking), etc.;
(b) To assist the Assessment Officer in preparing documents and presentation materials for Assessment Panel meetings;
(c) To assist in liaising with the awarded teachers on the publication of the CEATE Compendium, the preparation of the sharing session of the Award Presentation Ceremony, the production of publicity videos, the information to be uploaded to the Awarded Teaching Practices Repository in CEATE website, etc.;
(d) To set up and manage a database on the nominations of CEATE;
(e) To render administrative support to the Comprehensive Report; and
(f) To discharge any other duties as assigned.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.

7 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity leave/paternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
