It is usually ranked among the most acclaimed European walking tour operators. Until today hundreds thousands of people from all over the world have enjoyed a guided tour with us. Our mission is to give the world a better view of Greece! Powered by a team of over 80+ guides and 40+ business experts, we are headquartered in the vibrant district of Koukaki, only a few minutes by foot from the Acropolis and Syggrou FIX metro station.
We are looking for:
We are searching for a people-oriented Tour Operation Specialist who will join our vibrant team that services customers from all over the world. We want a team player who enjoys helping people and overcoming challenges with effectiveness and positive spirit. We actually imagine a person who will make our guests fall in love with Athens and our tours!
What you will do:
You will work in the Tour Operation Team either part-time or full-time, and max. 40 hours per week (we don’t like working crazy long hours).
In the first 2 months, you will be paid to be trained in all team roles: Tour Guest Hosting , Customer Support, Guides Coordination and Sales .
We will help you identify the role that makes you the most productive and happy.
To give you an idea:
The Hosting Specialist welcomes our guests as they embark on their exploration of Athens. You meet and greet them at the meeting points, check them in, provide orientation, tickets and essential equipment ensuring that all tours start on time.
As the Support Specialist you spend more time at our office in Koukaki supporting customers and your colleagues by phone or email, managing bookings, talking with partners to resolve related cases, and taking care of various administration tasks.
Being the Guides Relations Coordinator you organize our daily collaboration with the guides who run the tours.
In the role of Sales Specialist, you focus on bringing new customers to book our tours.
What you bring:
Strong communication skills in English & Greek, both written and oral
At least 2 years of work experience in any PR, Sales, Account Management, Customer Support, Hotel/Bar/Restaurant or other related people-facing roles
A degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, History & Culture, Media, Psychology or a related field
Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and similar software tools
Team spirit, patience, time management, communication and other skills
Motivation to learn from others and grow inside a busy tourism organization
Nice to have:
Experience with Freshdesk
Ability to communicate in French, German, Italian or other languages
Experience with tour operators and tour agencies
