Greece- Area Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Area Finance Manager to join our team on a temporary maternity cover basis (12- 18 months). The position directly reports to Regional Controller and is responsible for maintaining financial controls and adopt best practices. Deliverables include performing financial analysis, developing financial planning processes advising the management on the overall financial operations of the Cluster. The Position will also act as a key Business Partner in the Cluster management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Receivables Management
- Maintain favorable working capital by optimizing debtor collections and conducting due diligence for new clients to establish credit limits
- Generation of external and internal funds for business
- Management of foreign currency risk and exposure
- Forecast cash flow requirements
- Credit evaluation - ensure constant review of current vendors terms negotiate better rates and rebates
- Review of management accounts
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS for Group reporting/ local GAAP for financial statements
- Timely production of Annual Financial Statements with no adverse opinion or qualification
- Submission to Governments, Partners and Group management
- Submit MIS reports to Group on a timely basis
- Analyse KPls and performance targets
- Effective planning of the budgeting and forecasting exercises
- Ensure completion within the deadlines
- Coordination of internal, statutory and Government audits ensuring expectations are met with no adverse comments
- Coordination and management of tax fillings. Ensure accurate and in-timely report creating for Tax Authorities
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-5 years of similar experience, tax knowledge and experience for Greece
- Signatory Right A Class
- Comprehensive oral and written English
- Degree from a Higher Educational Institution (A.E.I.) or Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I.) with a major in Economics
- CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent
- ERP experience
- Macros/ Pivot tables
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven track record in process improvements
- Eligibility to work in Greece
