Introduction
We are seeking a proactive HR Manager to join our HR Finland team at Metso. You will be responsible for supporting line managers within specific business lines in the Minerals business area and play a pivotal role in supporting our leaders and employees to achieve organizational success. You’ll act as a trusted partner to line managers, providing expertise across various HR disciplines in a multi-cultural matrix environment. This position is located in our headquarters in Espoo, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you belong to
You will join a collaborative team of 6 dedicated HR Managers passionate about delivering high-quality HR support and services. Our team is committed to driving continuous improvement and supporting each other in achieving individual and collective goals.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as line managers, talent acquisition team, HR support and services team, and global and business area HR professionals across the organization. The members in our team are located in Espoo, Lappeenranta, Pori, and Tampere. In this role, you’ll report to Senior HR Manager, Team Lead in HR Finland.
What you’ll do
Provide guidance and support to line managers on people-related topics to ensure business success and achievement of targets.
Equip line managers with the tools and knowledge to handle HR tasks such as onboarding, job levelling, compensation and benefits (C&B), exit processes, organizational changes, competence and performance management, and health & wellbeing.
Act as a key driver in rolling out and training line managers on global HR processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Represent HR in the local Occupational Health and Safety Committee, contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.
Leverage data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and refine HR strategies.
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment related matters to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience
Foster collaboration with employee representatives to maintain a productive and respectful work environment.
Work closely together with the HR Finland team to ensure efficient and high-level HR services for Metso Finland organization.
Who you are
A proven track record in HR management with experience of preferably working in, e.g., industrial/technology/digital/automation industry.
Experience across the employment lifecycle, including onboarding, C&B, organizational development, performance management, succession planning, and driving D&I initiatives.
Familiarity with Finnish employment legislation and regulations, collective agreement of technology industry, and health and employee wellbeing practices.
Ability to train and coach line managers and foster positive collaboration with employee representatives.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems (preferably Success Factors), reporting tools, and data analysis to provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills in Finnish and English, other languages are plus.
Proactive, flexible, and eager attitude to bring fresh ideas and elevate HR services to align with future business needs.
