Role purpose:

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Define and own the application architecture for the entire VOIS IT Automation organisation, promote buy-in from business and IT side for the common architecture model
• Design the solution for different organizations and business owners like CARE, Business, CFSL and COE.
• Support service transition projects in architecture-compliant solution designs, effort-estimation, vendor selection and implementation approach
• Review solution designs and ensure adherence to the VSS application architecture guidelines
• Ensure alignment of the application architecture with (a) the network and infrastructure architecture and (b) the Vodafone-Group architecture model and standards for IT applications
• Own and maintain the Application Lifecycle Management tool
• Actively participate as a technical owner in tenders for product and vendor evaluations.
• Responsible on end to end solution design and integration to assure reliable services.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Experience in developing reference architecture models for the IT application landscape of a global IT organisation
• Deep understanding of AI with main focus on Gen AI and different LLM models
• Experience in designing and building optimized cloud solutions that integrate with different application and AI capabilities.
• Experience in different programming languages and capability to build a quick POC
• Experience in automation, workflows, RPA, and REST,JSON, Webservice APIs.
• Good understanding of CRM, ERP, HR and monitoring applications from different vendors
• Good understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL and e TOM
• Proven track-record in defining application solution designs for complex IT projects supporting both on-premise and cloud technology with high availability using AWS, Google & Azure.
• Experience working for a large scale global communication service provider or IT organization

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Technical Degree
• 6+ years’ experience in solutions design
