Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investment? Then Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you. We are currently looking for a Legal Student Analyst (internally called Analyst) to join the CI Capital team within CIP in Copenhagen.


The Team
The CI Capital team’s key responsibility is management of CIP’s four Senior Partner’s ownership of CIP. Further, CI Capital is consolidating the increasing investments by the Senior Partners in funds managed by CIP and other investments as well as driving a continuous professionalization of other family office activities. The team currently consists of around 12 highly experienced and motivated people.
The legal team plays a vital role in terms of coordinating new investments, structuring hereof, continuous ad-hoc support, and administration of the Senior Partners’ entities.


The Role
As a Legal Student Analyst in CI Capital, you will contribute to provide advice and assistance relating to legal structuring and assist the two legal counsels in CI Capital with various kinds of ad hoc legal queries and administrative tasks.
The role is a part time position with 15-20 working hours a week.
Responsibilities will further consist of:

• Assist the legal team in CI Capital with various ad hoc legal matters
• Assist with maintaining updated corporate documentation and structure charts
• Assist with corporate housekeeping such as annual general meetings etc.
• Coordinate corporate compliance processes under supervision from the team
• Assist with KYC material, signature requirements etc.

You
CIP is looking for 3rd year bachelor’s students or 1st year master’s students studying Law or Business Administration and Commercial Law. We are looking for the following in a candidate:

• A “can-do”-attitude
• Analytical skills
• Profound interest in company and commercial law (experience or knowledge within company law, commercial law and private equity is beneficial but not a requirement)
• Are thriving with responsibility and displaying high attention to detail
• Flexible, and able to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Structural and systematic approach to assignments
• Fluency in English

Please note that we do not offer a remote working opportunity, thus you must be a Danish resident, or an upcoming student enrolled in a Danish university to be eligible for this role. Students on exchange in Denmark are not considered eligible for this position.
