As a Finance Consultant, you will be an integral part of Deloitte’s Corporate Reporting team, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver high-quality, actionable, and insightful management reporting. You will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation by providing financial oversight, facilitating sound management decisions, and optimising financial performance. Your duties will include managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and implementing procedures and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness and play a vital role in transforming our financial reporting processes.
In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Collaborating as a core team member in the financial operations in coordination with colleagues from Finance, IT, and various business units.
- Building strong relationships across Finance and other functions to thoroughly understand business needs and requirements.
- Analyse and prioritize reporting process issues and maintain a comprehensive overview of incidents and changes.
- Take the initiative in driving progress and independently solving complex problems.
- Actively participate in the continuous development and optimization of financial processes and tools, and support high-priority projects and business requests. Maintain and enhance Finance-owned reporting data and planning models to support management reporting and planning processes.
Qualifications
- A master's degree with a strong academic track record in Finance, Economics, IT, or another related field.
- Relevant student job, preferably in an international organization, with a solid financial knowledge and skillset.
- A diligent and analytical mindset that can provide insights from complex data that are both insightful and actionable.
- Curiosity to understand business requirements and a passion for improving reporting processes and applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English being a requirement.
Our Corporate Reporting team is an integral part of Deloitte's internal finance function. Comprising dedicated professionals with a diverse skillset covering Operational and Business Finance, Corporate Reporting and Strategic Projects, we in Deloitte Finance oversee the financial management of all Deloitte activities.
