Warehouse Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inventory management;
• Pick and pack jobs for the installation teams;
• Pick and pack jobs for the electricians;
• Operate forklift in a safe manner;
• Receive shipments/materials;
• Ensure property, both the warehouse and parking lot are organized, clean and free of debris;
• Assist with fleet management as requested;
• Pick up material from suppliers;
• Deliver equipment to crews as needed; and
• Ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Relevant construction experience, preferably in the solar industry is an asset;
• Previous experience working in a warehouse is preferred;
• Experience operating a forklift;
• Forklift Operator Certification license;
• Strong ability to take initiative and work independently;
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packing of jobs;
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse;
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in a fast-paced environment;
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract ;
• Ability to learn and understand new material and technical concepts;
• Proficiency in English is required;
• Criminal record check is required;
• Valid Safety Training Certificates (WHMIS) an asset; and
• Certified CPR and First Aid are an asset;
