We’re currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Barrie team and help us build what really matters !
THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Full-Time, Permanent
• Monday to Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Starting rate: $20.18 *Eligible for shift premium

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares and packs orders for loading and shipping. Double checks all picked orders for accuracy of count and type of material.
• Assists with receiving tasks, verifies stock and places material in appropriate locations designated by the Receiving Report.
• Loads Company vehicles when all material is ready for delivery to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and to ensure all material loaded is secured and safe for delivery.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean warehouse and counter area for other employees and customers by keeping aisles and shelves clear of objects and/or potential danger.
• Uses and maintains equipment (i.e. Forklift, Pump truck, etc.) in a safe manner and informs supervisor immediately of any problems with equipment.
• Assists with annual physical inventory.
• Executes all other duties as required by the position and/or requested by the immediate supervisor.

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM:

• Minimum 1-2 Years’ previous warehouse experience, picking/packing orders
• Previous experience using an RF scanner
• Previous forklift experience (i.e. Counterbalance or Reach), current certification an asset
• Working at Heights experience, current certification an asset
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal, in English
• Basic mathematical skills (i.e. Counting)
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work well individually or as a team player
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
