Job Responsibilities
This key position at our largest store is involved in all aspects of the shipping and receiving of equipment. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound self-propelled agricultural equipment
- Consult the scheduling software to prioritize daily activities
- With direction from the Transportation Coordinator, arrange loads for pick up
- Using a rough terrain forklift, load and unload non-self-propelled equipment, large parts orders, etc.
- Work with our Service Department and Parts Department when heavy forklift is required
- Inspect loads and gather proper documentation to bring equipment into inventory
- Organize equipment displays to maintain a professional yard image
- Perform general warehouse and yard maintenance
- Manage and make effective use of the warehouse space
- An individual with a positive attitude who takes pride in the quality of their work
- An attentive, reliable and conscientious individual to handle high value equipment
- An individual who enjoys interacting with other great team members and customers
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize work
- Valid Driver’s License with a clear driving abstract
- Strong communication and organization skill
- Experience with forklifts and agricultural machinery would be a major asset
- Proficient using computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office software
