Talent Acquisition Partner (6 month contract)

We're seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner (6-month contract) based in Montreal or Toronto to drive hiring efforts for our Product & Technology teams. You will own the recruitment process from the time a role is approved until the new Lightspeeder has started, ensuring a great candidate experience while being a strategic partner to the Product & Technology organization in North America. Technical recruitment experience is an essential requirement.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
What you'll be doing:
- Manage a full-cycle recruiting process from kick off, to offer acceptance, all the while ensuring the highest standards and a seamless and positive experience for both your internal stakeholder and the candidate.
- Gather approvals, craft awesome job postings, and design fit-for-purpose interview processes in line with our recruitment framework.
- Act as a subject matter expert and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong and effective business relationships with hiring managers and senior management.
- Collaborate with and share your expertise with other members of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Keep track of your hiring data and regularly draw insights to continuously improve our processes and strategy.
- Champion diversity & inclusion best practices in all our hiring processes.
- Responsible for engaging with and finding top talent (e.g. attend recruitment events, job boards, strategic sourcing initiatives, creating relationships with local schools, etc.).
- Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of Lightspeed's overall sourcing, recruitment hiring plan and objectives.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Proven experience in end-to-end technical recruitment, successfully hiring for specialized and technical roles.
- Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
- Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business.
- Experience advocating for diversity of thought and collaborating with others to highlight its value.
- Proven ability to source, sell and close candidates.
- Ability to work in a global and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
