We are currently hiring for a Pricing Coordinator in Kitchener. If you’re highly motivated and are ready for an exciting career that will shape the future of the foodservice industry, we want to hear from you.
Position Summary:
- The Pricing Coordinator provides superior service to the customer by making sure the customer’s pricing is correct at all times while protecting the profitability of Flanagan’s. This includes the close collaboration with the Multi-Unit team, Category Managers, Supply Chain Planners and Accounts Payable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review National Chain and Regional account quotes for price changes along with assisting in reviewing Street Accounts when needed.
- Enter quote requests for both Street and Chain Accounts.
- Monitor Vendor contracts for Key quotes along with vendor repayments for all accounts.
- Enter and maintain rebates in the rebate system for Key Accounts. Monthly Key account rebate calculations for accounts that the rebate is unmonitored.
- Review Daily cost exception reports for all quoted items, override reports, audit reports
- Preparation of monthly bill-backs to the vendors.
- Help ensure accuracy of customer discrepancies when a bulk credit is needed.
- Audit quotes monthly to ensure the capture of lost margin potential.
- Back-up for Street CPM Administrator, along with assist in budgeting and discrepancies.
- Calculate all fuel surcharges according to agreement terms.
- Calculate all customer USD exchange rates according to agreement terms.
- Constructing and updating Chain pricing profiles.
- Auditing Multi Unit Accounts to ensure they are following the profiles and we are achieving margin expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Efficient time management and organization skills.
- Strong problem-solving and proactive resolution skills.
- Advanced mathematical and analysis skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong multi-tasking skills in a priority conflict environment, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communications skills (verbal, written, and electronic), and professional courteous manner.
- Strong computer skills and intermediate experience with MS Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with ERP systems or pricing tools considered an asset.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have an attendance record which indicates dependability.
