Position: Terrain Park Attendant


Department: Mountain Operations


Reports To: Mountain Operations Manager


Position Status: Seasonal


Wage: $17.20/hour

Position Summary:

The Terrain Park Attendant plays a key role in the maintenance and operation of the terrain park. This individual ensures that features such as jumps, rails, and boxes are well-maintained, safe, and enjoyable for park users. The position involves direct interaction with guests and a commitment to maintaining a safe and fun environment.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair terrain park features (jumps, rails, boxes, etc.) daily.
  • Ensure features meet resort safety standards.
  • Perform grooming tasks to maintain optimal conditions, including shoveling and raking.
  • Ensure guest compliance with terrain park rules and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor for hazards and respond promptly to incidents or injuries.
  • Communicate safety concerns to management.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service to terrain park users.
  • Answer questions, offer tips, and promote a positive atmosphere.
  • Educate guests on park etiquette and safety practices.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in snow parks or similar environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding and terrain park features is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, shoveling, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and variable hours.
