General Information: Qualifications:

• Preferred candidates are enrolled in post secondary studies.
• Successful candidates possess working knowledge of the safe use of hand held equipment used in painting, construction and landscaping; rough construction, landscape installation and maintenance techniques; and, motorized equipment.
• A valid Class 5 BC drivers' license and a First Aid Level I with CPR Certificate are required.
• Successful candidates are physically fit and possess:
  • The ability to learn the safe and competent operation of small ride-on construction equipment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with customers and the general public.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting.
• Preference will be given to candidates aged 15-30 years as per the Canada Summer Jobs Program through Service Canada, however candidates outside of this age range will be considered.
