This role requires someone who is hands on and is comfortable growing an Asset Management team and managing a growing portfolio.
Your responsibilities include

- Lead the enhancement of the Asset Management system to help track and maintain KPIs including construction and operational updates for each investment
- Oversee the financed emissions calculations for the CIB’s portfolio
- Proactively identify and implement strategic team initiatives in a timely and efficient manner (e.g., working group with Investments for transitioning of investments, build-out of an Asset Management Operations Team)
- Play a contributing role to certain aspects of the planning and completion of due diligence, including review of reporting requirements for all investments
- Collaborate with the Investments team to understand transaction structures and implications for financial reporting and operations, while proactively finding practical and efficient solutions
- Partner with the Investments team to identify value creation opportunities (such as loan syndications) and exit strategies
- Stay ahead of emerging market and industry trends to enable active participation in the asset management marketplace
- Advocate for and embed the firm’s diversity and inclusion philosophy and practice through the management, mentorship and recruitment
The ideal profile
- 12+ years of progressive experience, of which 5 should be within the infrastructure industry
- Attention to detail and focus on high quality standards in line with market best practices

- Practical knowledge in the area of public sector infrastructure with an emphasis on infrastructure asset management, data collection and analysis, and performance monitoring
- Working knowledge of Canadian debt financing and capital markets and/or project financing markets, including reflection of these in a financial modelling and commercial document context
- Background leading organizational growth and transformation
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor and lead cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships
