Position Summary:
The MEP Drafting Specialist will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all MEP designs are accurate and complete.

Position Summary:
The MEP Drafting Specialist will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all MEP designs are accurate and complete.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed MEP drawings, layouts, and schematics for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems using Auto CAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Interpret architectural and structural plans to incorporate MEP systems efficiently.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local codes, standards, and regulations specific to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing installations.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., civil, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within overall project designs.
- Review and update existing drawings based on project changes, field observations, and feedback from the engineering team.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs (MTO) based on the finalized drawings.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site visits and coordination with installation teams.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP drafting.
- Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines according to plans.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP drafting, preferably within the HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing sectors.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software, as well as strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards applicable in Bahrain.
