Australian Wax Company is one of the leading Candle and wax product manufacturers in Australia and we have an exciting opportunity to expand our team and continue to grow.
We are currently seeking a Team Leader where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and achieving our production goals.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and Motivate: Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of production staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Production Oversight: Ensure workflows are efficient, and production schedules are met without compromising quality.
Quality Control: Monitor processes to maintain adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing coaching and skill development opportunities for team members.
Health & Safety: Uphold workplace safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Previous experience in Warehousing / Manufacturing.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, manage, and develop diverse teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to adapt and address challenges effectively and implement practical solutions.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Decision-Making: Makes informed decisions without excessive reliance on others and has the confidence to stand by choices and actions with sound reasoning.
Basic Computer Skills

Proficiency in using Microsoft Word/Excel.
Ability to navigate and use email platforms effectively for communication.
Basic knowledge of data entry and maintaining digital records.
Experience with file management, including saving, organizing, and retrieving documents.
Understanding of Windows operating system and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to learn and use industry-specific software or tools as needed.
The Details

Casual to Full time after a probation period.
38 hour week. No weekends or OT required.
Negotiable salary.

Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driver Licence (Preferred)
