As a TAFE Teacher you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace. The Role
As a TAFE Teacher with the Faculty of Nursing and Community Services, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
We have an exciting temporary full-time position available until 27 June 2025 (unless otherwise determined) to join our team at TAFE Queensland's Loganlea Campus.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a Teacher is $88,547.03 - $100,232.42, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Applicant must possess the following:
- Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed;
- Possession of Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent relevant qualification in education, health, science, arts, allied health, public health or health promotion.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the health and nursing industry
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
- current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
- evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; plus:
- TAELLN411 or its successor or TAELLN401A; and
- TAEASS502 or its successor or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B; or
- A credential issued by a higher education provider which would enable the individual to satisfy the academic requirements for registration as a secondary school teacher and one (1) of the following credentials:
- TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor, or
- TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or
- TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set; or
- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
