Meat & Grain Newcastle is seeking a Restaurant Manager,

You will be responsible for all operations of the restaurant on shift including:-

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality
Organize and supervise shifts
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
Performing Cash up Duties at the end of the evening shift and sending reports to Management on a daily basis.
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Training and assisting Bar staff as and when needed during the service.
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
On ground to ensure that customers do not get into problems related to excessive drinking and strictly following RSA regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $64,000.00 – $67,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 38 – 41 per week
Experience:

Restaurant management: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (Required)
