Job Description

Project:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

Implementing the Quality Management Plan on site
Assist in preparation and close out of work packs
Review subcontractors' QA/QC deliverables
Ensure surveillance, hold and witness inspections are conducted and signed off as per subcontractors' ITP's
Review subcontractors' inspection and test records
Review subcontractors' As-Built documentation including redline markups and MDR's
Prepare weekly QC reports

Required Skills and Competencies

Experience in the construction industry and project work
Knowledge and solid understanding of ISO 9001:2008 requirements
Relevant recognised qualification
