The impact you'll have:
The Workplace Injury Commission is a statutory authority that helps resolve workers compensation disputes. We do this by providing independent and impartial conciliation and arbitration services to injured workers and their employers. Our services provide efficient, informal, and affordable alternatives to court.
We aim to have a positive impact on those affected by workplace injuries, and Victoria's broader workers compensation system. Our vision is to be a leading provider of alternative dispute resolution services.
As we continue on a journey of growth and transformation, with a number of projects under way, our Elevate project team are looking for a Project Coordinator to join. The Project Coordinator will support the team to deliver a Saa S technology project to replace a major legacy system. The primary purpose of the role is to support the team to deliver upon the project management plan requirements, project planning, client relationships, engagement & delivery of best practice compliance, monitoring and reporting.
You are a focused, driven, motivated & experienced Project Coordinator who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of a major uplift to the organisation.
You will bring your unique perspectives and expertise to help us turn our proud legacy into a bright future.
Who we're looking for:
In addition to possessing a track record of delivering Service Improvement outcomes, to succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar project support function and with performing project administration duties
- Demonstrated Project Office experience including schedule, risk, issue and budget administration
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in an effective and mature manner with a diverse range of people
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks while adhering to strict timelines
- Advanced skills and experience of MS Office products (Excel, Work and Power Point)
