Project Assistant

Salary: $77,737 - $80,884 p.a plus superannuation
The opportunity:
Are you passionate about research and eager to contribute to projects that shape the future of adolescent health? We’re looking for a dedicated and talented Project Assistant to join the Adolescent Health group at Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI).
As a Project Assistant, you will play a key role in the CATS (Child to Adult Transition Study) and VIHCS (Victorian Intergenerational Health Cohort Study), two large-scale, ongoing longitudinal studies focused on understanding health, lifestyle, and emotional adjustment across generations. These studies are critical in shaping the future of adolescent and young adult health.
Your responsibilities include:
Manage participant data and ensure accurate data collection and maintenance
Develop and maintain study documentation including interview scripts, surveys, protocols, and ethics/grant submissions
Collect and manage survey data through REDCap
Coordinate phone scheduling and conduct phone-based assessments
Support the project team in meeting deadlines, organizing events, and contributing to research activities
What we need from you:
A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, health, research, or a related field.
Experience in data collection, conducting standardized assessments or interviews.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a collaborative mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with REDCap is highly desirable.
