What you will be doing:
- Actively work collaboratively with Service Delivery frontline staff, and First Nations Housing staff to identify, engage, navigate and influence external government/s, specialist and mainstream agencies to provide responsive housing assistance to young people and their families.
- In conjunction with frontline housing staff and the Specialist Response Team, plan and coordinate housing assistance, proactively engaging with, drawing on and leveraging disability services, mental health services, First Nations health services and other government/s and community sector providers to meet customers' housing and support needs.
- Leading and coordinating the design, development, implementation and evaluation of projects focused on person-centred human service and integrated service delivery, including opportunities for co-design.
- Contributing to multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams to leverage resources and expertise, identify solutions and deliver the department's operational and strategic outcomes.
- Work with and support frontline housing staff to adopt an intersectional, trauma- informed and culturally safe approach when working with customers to identify and address barriers to securing and sustaining housing.
- Prepare and provide high quality briefings, reporting, project and other documentation to support strategic and operational developments and to senior management as required.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
