If you are someone who enjoys dealing with complexity, who welcomes variety and does not find ambiguity daunting, and who thrives when working with people who think likewise, you may be suited to a role that will require you to: - assist in implementing legislative changes resulting from the Information Privacy and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2023 (IPOLA)- interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures- respond to privacy breaches and complaints- apply sound judgement to complex and sensitive issues- research, analyse and resolve issues that can be difficult- think strategically- write and communicate professionally with people at all levels inside and outside the department- develop resources to assist our client agencies to meet their legislative compliance obligations and may require you to: - exercise decision-making delegations under the Right to Information Act 2009- supervise other privacy compliance staff.
