Lecturers are subject experts who design, develop, and deliver educational material using a range of methods and platforms. They create course and teaching material and lesson plans in order to engage with students and to facilitate their learning. A lecturer is expected to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning practice within the program as well as the Speech Pathology research profile as part of a highly experienced teaching team at ECU.
The successful candidate will need to:
Be a Certified Practising Member with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for) and have at least 5-years postgraduate experience.
Have prior experience in the development and delivery of research-informed teaching in tertiary education and/or within a speech pathology or related context;
Have a developing research track record, including research outputs.
Have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with community stakeholders including those from industry and with lived experience.
High a high degree of interpersonal skills, including team work and leadership, communication and negotiating skills.
Have completed a Ph D or be undertaking a higher degree in an appropriate field will be highly regarded but is not essential.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $80,938 - $108,498 (Level A) or $113,918 - $134,596 (Level B) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
