• Salary Range: $87,955 - $96,696 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

Reporting to the Deputy Director: Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, you will design, develop, deploy, maintain, and govern the Institute’s analytical research databases stored in a cloud-based Enterprise Data Warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake), or other repositories (e.g., Tableau Cloud), in accordance with specified requirements. You will define new data collection and analysis processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Postgraduate degree in Data Engineering, Data Science or Data Analytics, ideally building on a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in handling, manipulating, transforming, merging, and analysing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including databases, data warehouses and data lakes
• A demonstrated commitment to understanding strategic business needs, with the ability to conceptualise problems, develop methodologies and implement effective solutions
