About the role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team at Sai Gon Cafe Restaurant in St Morris, SA 5068. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality, delicious dishes that showcase our authentic Vietnamese cuisine. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and passionate hospitality team, contributing to the success of our popular restaurant.
What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of Vietnamese dishes to our high standards
• Create the new menu.
• Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and adheres to all health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to continually improve our menu and food preparation processes
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies
• Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef, ideally in a Vietnamese or Asian cuisine restaurant
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing and cooking a wide range of Vietnamese dishes
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and quality standards
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate well with others
• Strong communication skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
