Situated in the Picturesque setting of Rockingham. Lead a kitchen team in our busy café open 7 days a week, breakfast and lunch with. Develop the daily menu, smooth running of the system that support the café to stay on the top of costs and profitability, maintain harmony with colleagues and position the business to build more capacity for catering, functions and events.
Key responsibilities: -
· Prepare and Cook meal following the venue’s recipes and plating guides, ensuring high quality and timely service
· Working on new recipes to add dishes on restaurant menu
· Continue to develop and execute Gluten- free, dairy-free and sugar- free options menus.
· Ability to work all stations including fryer, pans, grill, gas stoves, oven etc..
· Maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.
· Coaching and mentoring the kitchen team to continuously improve their skill and performance
· Collaborate with suppliers to ensure fresh and high-quality ingredients.
· Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized kitchen
· Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities.
· Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team culture

Requirements:
· Passion for Healthy food & innovation as per latest food trends
· Proven experience as chef role, particularly in a busy setting- minimum of 2 years.
· Must have qualifications as Chef. Certificate IV in commercial cookery or above.
· Strong leadership skill and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
· A commitment to culinary excellence and innovation.
· Familiarity with dietary requirements and the ability to cater to diverse needs.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
