About Us: Uprety Home Care is a registered provider for community Nursing under NDIS and provides brokerage to Home Care patients. We are well known provider for complex wound care, Continence and Catheter Care. Our Drop-in Community services occur from 8am-6pm, Monday to Sunday and can offer you a flexible work schedule. Our vision at Uprety Home Care is to be the leading provider of compassionate and professional Registered Nurses and Support Workers.
Position Summary: As a Community RN, you will care for NDIS and Home Care patients in the Gymea Bay area following their care plans. You will provide care within your scope of expertise. Our Clinical Coordinator will support you in areas you wish to develop.
Responsibilities: As our primary services involve continence, wound care and catheter care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Changing SPC, IDC (Male Female) Catheter, and flushes following best practice
• Following Wound Care Plans
• Wound Care Assessments
• Traveling to patients’ homes
• Building Rapport with patients
• Completing Records and Progress Notes

We also provide care for PEG, Diabetes, Stoma and Pressure Care; and those skills are considered in your application
Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in SPC & IDC Catheter change
• Experience in Complex Wound Care
• General Experience with PEG, Diabetes, Stoma and pressure care
• Drivers License and own vehicle

Bonus Criteria: Post-Graduate qualification holders are encouraged to apply as UHC provides Continence Assessment and Reports; these rates are higher than those advertised above.
