Your Role:
The Business Support Officer (Accreditation and Government Funding Eligibility) plays a key role in supporting the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board (NSSAB) and its Secretariat. This role involves providing high-quality administrative and operational support, with a primary focus on the accreditation process and eligibility for government funding for non-state schools. The position requires a detail-oriented, organized individual capable of assisting in multiple areas, including financial management, meeting coordination, policy development, and communication.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative and operational support, particularly in a government or regulatory environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with attention to detail, especially in meeting preparation, financial record keeping, and compliance reporting.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in financial bookkeeping, budgeting, and report preparation. While prior experience in financial processes is a plus, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate a keen interest and ability to quickly understand and apply financial concepts and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise correspondence, briefings, and reports.
- Ability to assist in research and analysis on policy-related matters.
- Collaborative and supportive attitude, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Attach a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant work history);
- Attach a 1-page written statement about how your achievements and capabilities meet the requirements of the role.
