Join our team to be a part of BOQs business banking expansion with a unique role driving acquisitions through both our commercial broker network and through direct customer engagement.
This dynamic role involves managing a hybrid portfolio of proprietary and third-party development, focusing on business development and strategic partnerships. You'll price applications for optimal returns and review Commercial Lending, Asset Finance, and Residential Lending deals to ensure they meet our policies and credit standards.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll also be managing internal stakeholders, working closely with State Managers, Relationship Managers, and the credit team. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must, as you’ll be presenting to large audiences at Aggregator conferences and providing Broker lending updates.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and Attract: Develop and nurture profitable customer relationships by connecting with SME trading businesses and the health segment.
- Collaborate: Work closely with BOQ Business and BOQ Specialist Relationship Management teams to provide commercial deals. Refer any stand-alone generic residential lending to the BOQ Retail network.
- Brand Awareness: Enhance BOQ Business Brand visibility among Commercial Brokers and Aggregators across the Australian market.

About you
Our successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Finance, Business or relevant discipline desirable but not essential.
- Strong commercial lending experience & knowledge of the Business Lending, in particular analysis of complex financial statements.
- Strong knowledge the commercial market and competitors’ products.
- Ability to identify acceptable lending risk to the Bank and to maximize profit from transactions.
- Demonstrated experience of building, maintaining and utilising successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influences across the organisation.
- Be a self-directed, motivated team player who is passionate about providing a better BOQS experience.
