The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Applications Developer APS5 role in the Applications Delivery Section of the Digital Branch.

The Applications Developer role is required to undertake work that is moderately complex in nature and be able to work under limited direction. They will provide their expertise and knowledge for the delivery of:

• Activities to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of web based digital library systems.
• The functions of the Section and Branch.

• Undertaking day to day software development activities.
• Assisting with planning and prioritisation of development work.
• Collaborating and combining knowledge with Senior Developers to develop approaches for solving software maintenance and enhancement tasks.
• Software programming.

• Operational, business and project teams to maintain, fix and enhance web-based library systems.
• Business owners and development teams to provide software development advice.
