About the Role:
Work across all signage applications and service a large range of corporate customers across QLD and interstate. Work with large national brands and deliver their signage marketing objectives.
As an apprentice, you will work with an experienced team learning skills in all aspects of the Signage Trade including, design, print, general sign production, assembly and fabrication, installation, sign preparation and site surveying.
Signage is a multi-trade skilled environment and offers a variety of trade skills including construction, fabrication, electrical and cabinet making in addition to the signage specific skills you will develop.
With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will be:

• Assisting with the design and production of signage for a range of clients
• Learning about different types of signage and techniques used in the industry
• Developing skills in typography, graphic design, and hand lettering
• Communicating effectively with clients and team members
• Ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Any other tasks requested by the host employer

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Have a passion for art and design
• Good attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Have a willingness to learn and develop skills
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
• A high level of motivation and a strong work ethic and a positive "solution based" attitude
• A commitment to completing the apprenticeship
• Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Manual Drivers Licence
