About the Opportunity
The Aboriginal Access Officer will work closely with the Senior Aboriginal Access Officer, Manager Archive and Senior Reference Archivist to assist with services and projects that improve the quality of the archive collection, and the promotion of the archive collection to Aboriginal people and the wider community.

About the Business
State Records of South Australia (State Records) is a business unit within AGD with responsibility for the management of, and access to, records and information in the State's archive. State Records also provides advice and assistance to State and local Government relating to information management, access to information privacy. State Records provides support to the State Records Council and the Privacy Committee of South Australia.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.

Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
