Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager (AM) – Retail Sales is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve sales goals. The AM will work closely with the store manager to ensure smooth operations, implement sales strategies, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month

Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager (AM) – Retail Sales is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve sales goals. The AM will work closely with the store manager to ensure smooth operations, implement sales strategies, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:
- Assist in setting and achieving sales targets, and drive sales growth.
- Monitor daily and weekly sales performance and implement strategies to maximize sales.
- Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent customer service by overseeing customer interactions and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Provide product knowledge to customers and help them make informed purchase decisions.
- Train and coach sales associates to maintain high service standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate sales associates to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist in staffing, scheduling, and performance management of the sales team.
- Support team development through training, coaching, and feedback.
- Operational Support:
- Assist in managing inventory, including stock replenishment, organization, and stocktaking.
- Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store to ensure product displays are attractive and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and properly stocked.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security measures.
- Store Administration:
- Help with daily store operations, including opening and closing the store.
- Ensure all sales transactions are accurately processed and maintain records as required.
- Monitor store expenses and assist in budgeting and cost control.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Assist in planning and executing in-store promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Help with inventory management during promotional periods and ensure promotional displays are set up effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in retail management, business administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Skills:
- Strong sales acumen and ability to drive sales performance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations and merchandising standards.
- Proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
