Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Art Director with experience in both advertising and activation agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative creative direction, exceptional design skills, and expertise in brand activations and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Direction:
- Lead the creative vision for campaigns, ensuring the design reflects the brand’s identity and objectives.
- Oversee and guide the design team in creating compelling visuals for various platforms, including digital, print, and outdoor advertising.
- Collaboration & Team Management:
- Work closely with copywriters, designers, and project managers to execute creative concepts.
- Mentor and inspire junior designers, providing feedback and fostering creativity within the team.
- Brand Activations & Events:
- Lead design for activations, booth designs, and event setups, ensuring high-quality, engaging visual presentations.
- Work with the production team to bring designs to life and ensure they align with creative concepts.
- Client Presentation & Feedback:
- Present creative concepts and designs to clients, incorporating their feedback into refined deliverables.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring their vision is executed creatively and effectively.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all creative work meets the highest standards and is consistent with the brand’s aesthetic.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure designs are polished and aligned with project goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in creative direction or art direction, ideally with exposure to advertising or activation agencies like Creative Sprout Media, Blitz Spark, Designiyaat, Marshmallow Advertising, Gravitas, or Adcom.
- Proficient in industry-standard design software:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).
- Knowledge of 3D design and modeling tools is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a blend of creative direction, digital design, and brand activations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience in motion graphics, video production, or animation.
- In-depth knowledge of brand activation, experiential marketing, and event design.
- Ability to stay ahead of design trends and innovate in creative execution.
