Batching Plant Engineer

- Batching Plant Engineer
- This position is responsible for the daily operation of the batching plant, including but not limited to operations, maintenance, production, inventory control, safety, environmental compliance, and supervision of the batching plant employees.
- To ensure correct & approve mix design as be keying to the Batching system.
- To control quality of concrete & prevent concrete rejection.
- To investigate any report related to concrete quality issue.
- To prepare & submit concrete rejection/ wastage report based on superior’s instruction.
- To ensure maintenance schedule is follow and maintain the batching plant, equipment and machineries in good condition to promotes safety and proper work habits by staff/worker.
- Maintain and develop plant drawings, standards and procedures as appropriate.
- Assess and evaluate the conditions of access roads to ensure they are suitable for mixer trucks to pass through safely. Daily route must be verified that are even and clear from any sharp items which can cause breakdown.
- Responsible for material planning (delivery of material) and working closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Developed and implemented quality control measures for incoming materials
- Monitored and optimized the plant’s performance, including production output, energy efficiency and waste management.
- Assist with preparing the annual budget reports, participate in the long-range planning, organization and direction of activities relating to the operation and improvements to the plants.
- To make sure stock count conducted periodically. Answerable to material’s variances issue
- Provide training and ensure that his subordinates are adequately trained to perform job
- Enforce daily housekeeping within batching plant area.
- Any other job function assigned, and new responsibilities as may be added as and when necessary, from time to time.
- At least Civil Engineering or equivalent and have minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in precast manufacturing industry.
- Good command in English and B. Malaysia (oral and written).
- Computer literate including Microsoft Office (Excel / Words).
- Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, able to prepare simple reports.
- Candidate must have proven record of good attendance and punctuality.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Experience:
- precast manufacturing industry: 3 years (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
- Malay (Preferred)
- Beranang (Preferred)
