SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Suppliers: Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, and reliability.
- Negotiating Contracts: Negotiate terms of agreements, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
- Order Management: Place orders for goods and services, ensuring timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to avoid shortages. Ensure production kits are complete and up-to-date.
- Logistics/Warehousing: Responsible for warehousing, logistics for import and export, systems integration, and the distribution of goods and services.
- Planning: Align production schedules with demand forecasts and supply availability.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure BOM accuracy.
- Supplier Quality Control: Ensure products from suppliers meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact from suppliers.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in purchasing, manufacturing, or supply chain management, if with min 2 years’ experience is more advantage.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
