Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary: The purpose of this position is specialized for transportation and delivery of quality KCI products. Incumbent will operate transportation equipment to transport property, perform minor repair of property, be responsible to identify the most efficient means of transporting property and determine repair and transportation cost to decide if cost efficient to acquire property. Incumbent will work with agency staff to coordinate placement and arrangement of property in the warehouse and on agency grounds for storage efficiency and easy access. Will develop and maintain an inventory listing of property. The goal of the position is to assure the receiving customer is satisfied with the delivery process.

Minimum Qualifications:
One year of warehousing experience including loading and unloading materials, packaging, inventory control and verifying orders and shipment.


Selection Process: Applicants selected for interview will be evaluated by an interview panel using performance/behavior-based interview questions. The interview panel will make recommendations to the Director for final approval. A second interview may be conducted. Applicants will be subject to background check and criminal history investigation; must pass a drug screen and a TB test unless promoting, transferring, or demoting from another safety sensitive position within the same agency; and possess a valid Driver’s License.


Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate Required: Each applicant (even non-residents) applying for a State of Kansas job vacancy must obtain a valid Kansas Certificate of Tax Clearance by accessing the Kansas Department of Revenue's website.
