Looking for a new career opportunity in 2025? Sky Blue.com represents The General Insurance as well as other top brands such as Progressive Insurance, Nationwide Insurance, etc. Our busy office is located by the Long Beach Airport in Lakewood, CA where we receive thousands of calls per day from all 50 states across the United States.
We will be adding 5 new agents in training to our auto insurance sale team to work in our 12,000 square foot office in Lakewood, CA.
The right candidates will
1. Be teachable and coachable and willing to learn as you are training for a new career selling something that everyone needs by law - Auto Insurance
2. Have a clean criminal background. Background checks are the first thing we run on potential candidates. We cannot move forward unless you have a clean record.
3. Be proficient on a computer -- you will be working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to quickly navigate between several websites -- again quickly. A basic typing and internet proficiency exam is conducted at the in-office interview.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills. You must sound good on the phone. All sales are conducted over the phone. We are looking for candidates that sound Friendly and Professional.
5. Proven record of successful inside sales in any other field (other than insurance). We want to teach insurance but we are not interested in teaching basic sales and communication skills. 1 year minimum inside sales experience required.
6. Honest, positive, energetic & teachable attitude.
7. Be able to study and pass the California Personal Lines Insurance Exam (with our assistance and paid training).
Bilingual in Spanish is always a big plus (not required)

Highest pay structure in the auto insurance industry. Weekly Payroll.
New auto insurance agents can realistically expect to earn $4,000 to $5,000 per month during your first few months, once licensed. Earnings will go up as you gain knowledge and experience in your new auto insurance career. Experienced agents earn $85,000 - $165,000 per year at our agency.
