The Museum Manager position is responsible for the daily operations of the museum. There must be a high level of focus on creating a positive culture amongst employees and a fun experience for our guests. The majority of the role is spent on the museum floor interacting with guests and employees, so it is important to have strong communication skills and lots of energy.
The Museum Manager will report to the Museum Director and assist in the following duties which includes hiring to enhance an already great team, training employees, accountability, scheduling, communication, reporting, cleaning and maintaining the exhibits and museum space.
The museum also has a small retail shop, for which the Museum Manager oversees its operation and success. Maintaining displays, inventory, and promoting sales is essential.
The museum manager will also assist the marketing manager with the museum's marketing efforts. These include creating social media content within the museum, going to offsite marketing events, hosting media in the museum, and helping plan special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Management / Supervisor experience
• Fluent in English
• Good people and communication skills
• Team player
• High energy
• Willing to adapt
• Experience working with the public

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
