Achilles USA’s core business is to manufacture specialized plastic films that are used in thousands of products and hundreds of industries. Our films are produced using PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, or Urethane. The applications vary from IMAX Movie Screens to Medical Devices. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the overall repair, maintenance and operational efficiency of machinery and facility. This position will direct and coordinate the Plant Services team to optimize plant performance to support production goals. A successful candidate would have strong managerial skills and enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving.
Essential Functions

• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Coordinate activities of workers fabrication or modifying machines, tools or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
• Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Develop a preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operation costs, and affect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
• Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
• Confers with management, engineering, and quality control departments to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Prepare the departmental budget and monitor expenditure of funds in the budget.
• Develop an effective team that is engaged and works well together to accomplish the goals and KPIs for the department and company.

Qualifications
Education:

• High School Graduate
• BA degree preferred

Experience:

• 10 years maintenance management experience
• 5+ years manufacturing experience
• Plastic manufacturing experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Weekends as needed
